We are getting closer to having Permaswap ready to use. Before that, we would like to run tests and have our community involved in the build-up of Permaswap's final and fine details.
Here are the steps for the “swap token" :
Step 1: Open the Permaswap testnet.

Step 2: After entering the Swap interface of Permaswap test website, click "Connect", then choose “Connect Wallet”.
Step 3: Entering "Select Wallet" interface, choose "Arweave".
- If you have not downloaded the Arconnect Wallet, please click Download. You can check out the detailed tutorial if you need help.
1) Click "Arweave" and select "Arconnect”.
2) The wallet login interface will pop up. Enter your password and press "Log in".
3) Enter the Swap interface. Select convert to ETH, enter 50 USDT, and press “Swap”.
- Note that you only have 100 USDT test tokens, please keep a portion (e.g. 50) when swaping them, which will be used later for the "Add liquidity" test.
4) Click "Confirm swap".
5)When you see "Swap successful", means that you have completed the "Swap token” test.
Here are the steps for the "Add Liquidity" :
Step 1: Entering the "Pool", and download the “Permaswap Client”.
1. If you are a Windows user:
1) Click "Download for Win".
2) If the file is identified as a risk file by the system after downloading, don't worry, the file is safe. Please click "Keep" and then click "Keep anyway".
3) Unzip that folder, you can find "Permaswap.exe " application, then double-click the client can run normally.
2. If you are a MacOs user:
1) Click "Download Client MacOs".
2) Wait for the file to be downloaded. If you try to run the "Permaswap" application, you get a message saying "Permaswap cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified.”
3) Find the file in the folder, hold down “control” on your keyboard, click the file, and then select Open from the shortcut menu. The following popup window will appear, click “open”.

💡 After the installation is complete, run the Permaswap Client. Because the client operation interface is the same for both systems, we will take the "Windows" system as an example to demonstrate in the following.

Step 2: After entering the Permaswap client, click "Sign Up".
Step 3: Complete “sign up”.
1) Select the "Arweave" wallet format and click "Load Keyfile from system".
- If you don't know how to export a Keyfile from an Arconnect wallet, check out this article.
2) After finding the location of the Keyfile on the disk, click it, and then click "Open".
3) After Keyfile is imported successfully, cilck “Sign up”.
Step 4: Select the ETH/USDT pair.
1. Click “New Position”.
2. Click "USDC" shown by the arrow to enter the interface for selecting a pair.
3. Select “ETH/USDT” pair.
Step 5: Add liquidity
1. In the case of 50 USDT, ETH will then display the corresponding amount (make sure it is less than the maximum amount held), and click "Preview".
2. Click “Run a Node”.
3. Then "Add successfully" is displayed, and the ETH/USDT pool can be viewed in "My Liquidity Pool (My LP)".
